We have completed the Little Bike Trip! We arrived at Land's End on Wed 8th April 2009 having cycled a total of 1,100 miles.
We cycled just over 600 miles in August 2008 and 500 miles this year, to raise more than £2,215 for St Peter's Hospice. Thanks to everyone who sponsored us. For all those that haven't donated, it's not to late, our Just Giving page is still active and we would really appreciate your support.

We started cycling from John O' Groats to Land's End in August 2008 to raise money for St Peter's Hospice. In 2007 Liz's Uncle Keith stayed at St Peter's after being diagnosed with a condition called Amyloidosis, a rare disease that affects the proteins in your bone marrow and can cause the major organs in the body to fail. Keith very sadly lost the battle against his illness, aged only 47 and we all miss him very much.
St Peter's Hospice is an amazing place, with calm, friendly people, who provide great care and support, both as a patient and as a relative, when facing the most difficult of times. St Peter's is funded entirely by donations and receives no financial support from the government, despite providing a crucial service to many families.
Keith loved motorbikes and I [Liz] remember going for my first ride on the back of his bike as a kid.
Whilst we didn't have motor power on our ride, we did have pedal power! We think that Keith would approve very much of our bike trip and hope we can raise lots of money for St Peter's.
